The third job shadowing took place in Poland from 16 to 22 September 2017.
Day 1.
The first meeting of social workers from Kofoeds Skole (Copenhagen), Municipal Center for Social Services in Gdynia, and Wandzin Solidarity + Association was held. At the meeting, we discussed the job shadowing plan and recorded the statements and expectations of our guests. Job shadowing will primarily focus on the mental health and education of users of psychiatry, their families and the local community. The program is included in the Celebrations of Solidarity Days with People Suffering to Schizofrenia to be held in the Tri-City from 17 to 22 September 2017.

Our job shadowers have been taking part in “Change your head” campaign very actively since Sunday. On Wednesday, our friends from Copenhagen and Wandzin also visited District Center of Social Services no. 4, Adapa Foundation – they took part in Gdynia’s Fish project there. Later, Dominika, Frej and Edith were hosted in Reintegration and Counseling Center for People with Disabilities, where learnt about the institution and „Experienced Involvement” Project.
There was also time to relax and a common bowling game! 🙂
